  • Brooke Raison

I joined the team in 2009 as a full time nurse at Tamborine Vets. I gained my certificate IV in veterinary nursing in 2012. I had my son in April 2015 and came back part time as one of the receptionists at Canungra Vets. Both of my cats Cookie (now 8) and Sherlock (now 5, pictured below) where bought in as uncollected strays 5 years ago.

  • Caitlin Whiting
    Head Nurse

I started with the team in 2009 on a traineeship and have been qualified for 4 years now. I enjoy all aspects of nursing including caring for my 2 horses, 2 cats and dog at home. In my spare time I enjoy horse riding and walking my dog.

Joined the team in 2014 as a part of Canungra Vet Surgery. I got my certificate II in animal care in 2015 and am currently studying my certificate IV in vet nursing. I am your emergency and after hours nurse for weekends where I assist the vet and care for inpatients. I have one very naughty miniature dachshund named Boison and two cats, Jynx that was a stray brought into our clinic in 2015 and Tequila that was surrendered to our clinic in 2016. I can also be seen playing with my many horses and my family snags out in Boyland at our family stud farm.

  • Hayley O’Connell

Hayley recently started at Canungra Veterinary Surgery as a Receptionist/Nurse in July 2017. She has a background in Equine Management and Nursing. She is currently interested in studying and learning Small Animal Nursing. Hayley lives with her husband and with her many four legged dogs, cats, and horses. She spends her spare time camping, fishing, and horse riding. Hayley is grateful for her position here at Canungra Vets and looks forward to meeting our clients and their fury friends.

I joined the team at Tamborine Mountain Veterinary Surgery in 2012. I then worked between the two surgeries and now I am positioned at Canungra. I enjoy all aspects of the job, especially emergency nursing and large animal work. I'm close to completing my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. I have three Jack Russell's at home and three off-track thoroughbreds which I enjoy training in my spare time.
